Lemon slice, enamel on silver

This lemon slice was created by fusing, carving, and approximately 8 hours fusing glass (enamel) onto the front side. I strategically chipped parts off, added more glass, continued chipping, which became a 12-layer labor of love in an effort to make the piece look real.

The sculptural pendant is just over 2.25" in diameter. It hangs on a sterling silver chain that measures 22" in length.

This piece is one of a kind. Sterling silver and glass.
