Abalone Shell

This shell is the closest I've come to making one that actually looks real. I made the actual shell with sterling silver. It is entirely fused and carved. The inside of the shell contains 4 layers of enamel (glass) that resemble the inside of a real shell (as pictured).
The swiveling pendant is 2" long and 1.5" wide. It hangs on a hand made, sterling silver chain that measures 20-24" in length. It's designed to be adjustable.
This piece is one of a kind.
