Sand Dollar and Barnacle

If you’ve ever walked a beach and seen millions of sand dollars, you’re lucky. But you’re even more fortunate when you see a sand dollar that has barnacles adhered to them. They are such fascinating structures! And creatures.

The first sand dollar I ever made was back in 2017, not too long after I started my silversmithing journey. This is the first I've made with an attached barnacle. Hand fabricated sterling silver. Both are hollow forms.

The dollar is 1.5" in diameter, and the hand made chain is 23" in length. They are all made with sterling silver.

This piece is one of a kind.
