The Hummingbird totem symbolizes joy, playfulness, perseverance, creativity, love and adaptability. It encourages us to live in the moment, to be open to change, and to pursue our dreams with optimism. Its small size and ability to fly in all directions represent flexibility and freedom.
The wings are fabricated with sterling silver sheet and wire which I soldered, formed and textured. The entire body is fused and hand carved.
The hummingbird measures 3" from beak to tail feathers. The handmade chain is 24" in length and hooks at the front.
