Orman is a teacher of the sea. He patiently nestles himself within tight nooks like clam shells.
This piece was a labor of love. The sterling silver shell is hand forged with stakes, fused, carved, textured, and enameled. It opens and closes with a hidden hinge. Orman the Octopus is 100% fused with recycled sterling silver, carved, textured and soldered to the inside of the clam shell.
The handmade chain measures 33" in length and clasps at the front.
