Bluster, the biddable bat

This piece might be the most challenging I've made to date. Bluster (a brown bat) is hollow, entirely fused and carved out of sterling silver. That process alone was a labor of love. The legs and wings are both kinetic, so that the bat appears as if it's in flight.
The handmade chain is 18" in length. It hooks at the front on both sides, directly to the bat, designed so that be bat can be removed and turned into a wall hanging.
The bat's wingspan is 4", and it is 5" from top to bottom of wings.
