To make the links in this chain, I reticulated scraps of silver into balls, and then hammered them into small discs (it's quite a bit of silver!). I then drilled two holes in each and connected them with balled wire. Given how much silver was used, although the necklace is not heavy, it is not one that I would wear on a daily basis - it's more of a special occasion necklace.
I found both stones on a beach on Lopez Island in Washington state.
The double rock pendant hangs 1.5" in length and is 1.5" wide. The hand fabricated chain is 187. This piece is one of a kind.
