This shadowbox is not jewelry. I made it as a shadowbox demonstration for a recent workshop, and it is meant to be a sculptural piece or, literally, a small box.
Mountains Please. is a small box that opens with a tiny clasp. On the outside of the box is a natural river rock that I found here in the Methow Valley and tumbled in my rock tumbler. Also on the outside are the words Mountains Please. On the inside of the lid is a mountain scape, and at the base of the box is a single feather.
The shadowbox is 2" wide and 1.25" from top to bottom. It is .6" deep. This sculptural piece is one of a kind.
