When I came into the studio one morning I found a little brown moth dead on my workbench. After filling a few orders I decided to pay tribute to the insect.
I began with reticulating the body and carving out the details. I then sawed out and soldered the wings to the sides of the body, giving them a little texture with my flex shaft. Finally, I soldered on the itty-bitty legs and antennae.
The moth pendant hangs on a minimalist sterling silver chain (3" of hand fabricated chain at one end so that it is adjustable).
When you place your order, let me know how long you would like the chain to be (at its longest length).
This bug is one of a kind.
