Some days when I enter my studio I dump out a pile of natural stones and sift through them, raking my fingers through them and watching their colors tumble. It reminds me of walking on the beach picking up individual stones rolling around in the water. I imagine what they would look like in a piece of jewelry. For some reason, the word that popped into my head when I picked up this stone was "wander".
This ring is solid and a bit chunky, a purposeful rustic look. I used recycled silver scraps to make the base of the bezel. On the band I hand sawed the word "wander".
The face of the ring is .75" in diameter. The band is .6" wide and the ring is a size 9.5. It is one of a kind.
